Recommended Tour Route

The National Botanical Garden is best explored by following a route that takes you through the main gardens and greenhouses. Start at the East Gate, which is the main entrance to the park.

From the East Gate, visit the Rose Garden, Peony Garden, and Bamboo Garden. Then head to the Conservatory, which houses tropical and subtropical plants.

Continue to the Alpine Garden, which features plants from mountainous regions, and the Medicinal Plant Garden, which displays plants used in traditional Chinese medicine.

The garden is quite large, so plan to spend at least 3-4 hours to fully explore its attractions.
